Nicole Sasser is a triple threat: great trumpeter, vocalist and entertainer. Her versatility shines through on her debut CD. Bravo Nicole!

- Wayne Bergeron, Grammy nominated trumpeter in Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, LA studio musician, and solo recording artist

What a joy to hear such a wonderfully versatile and multi-talented entertainer as this fresh young talent on her debut recording!  Miss Sasser combines the style and emotional control of a cabaret singer with the swing of a jazz singer, the power of a Broadway belter and the musicality of an opera diva.  Add to that the fact that not only is she blessed with all these strengths, but she also has the sense of humur to satirize them on the spectacular tour-de-force "The Girl In 14G".  Listen to her crystal clear trumpet on Gershwin's "Rhapsody In Blue" or the merry acrobatics of her rendition of "Carnival Of Venice", and relish the delights she can provide even without clever lyrics.  Then hear her put it all together on "Sway" as she invites you to a passionate dance with both voice and horn.  Throughout the CD she goes from strength to strength, and I can't wait for her next release!

Treat yourself to an evening with "Showtime!" - and prepare to be thoroughly entertained!

- John Segers, Music Director, WUCF-FM 89.9 Orlando

Whether singing or playing the trumpet, Nicole Sasser is an accomplished and exciting artist. Her vocal abilities allow her to tackle many different musical styles and she approaches each style with refreshing taste and sensibility. She has a lush and rich sound on the trumpet and can dazzle you with her technique. Nicole's energetic and positive attitude makes her music come alive. It was a pleasure to work with her.

- Charlie Bertini, Producer

It takes a daring soul to record covers of famous classics like Herb Alpert’s "Rise" or Chuck Mangione's "Feels So Good.”  Nicole recreates these standards masterfully by making them her own, yet paying homage to the originals.

From the jazzy "Feels so Good," to the sultry "Summertime," to the nimble and virtuosic "Carnival of Venice," and the show-stopping "The Girl in 14G,” Nicole demonstrates great depth, precision and passion in the authenticity of her performance.

Whether singing or playing her trumpet, Nicole is a talent to watch and enjoy. She has the same kind of magic that Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Duke Ellington had: the ability not only to give a great performance, but more importantly, that special "something" that captivates an audience. Hmmm. I think it is called "soul."

- Marcus Printup, trumpeter in the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and solo recording artist

Nicole’s wide range of talent is showcased on her CD "Showtime!"  Her clear vocal timbre along with her warm horn tone magnify her artistry on this CD.  Her exuberance and love of performing is evident in this diverse collection of tunes.  I’m looking forward to her next CD outing and watching this talent grow!

- Kate Reid, jazz vocalist

Your performance for our residents here at Windsor Park Manor last evening was a highlight.  It is a distinct pleasure for me to present professional, high quality talent such as yours to our people.  Your musicianship is awesome--residents seemed equally divided in their preferences:  some loved your beautiful voice (particularly in the exquisite arrangement of "Summertime"), and others favored the trumpet renditions (especially "Carnival of Venice").  How special to have both gifts and to share them so generously in your fine program. Thank you for a fine program.

- Maxine Howard, Activity Director, Windsor Park Manor

You’ve got great round, well-supported tone. Your combination of voice and trumpet is quite special and very unique!
